Express entry is the most popular way to seek permanent residency in Canada. In 2015, the Canadian federal government launched it as a new online system to manage its three economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trade (FST). Interested applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) under one of these federal programs or under a participating provincial immigration program to the Express Entry Pool. Each candidate is ranked according to a points-based system known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The CRS will assess your skills, education, language ability, work experience, and other factors and assign you points. The highest-ranked candidates will be considered for an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence. If you submit incorrectly filled or incomplete application forms, your file may get rejected or sent back to you. We encourage you to take assistance from an immigration consultant so that he/she can guide step by step through this journey and help you to avoid errors or common mistakes that may result in unnecessary delays or refusals.
