Provincial Entrepreneur Programs
Many provinces have their separate immigration streams to encourage entrepreneurs and business managers' immigration under the Provincial Nominee Program. The majority of these provincial business immigration programs require active participation in managing a business based on a specified investment and job creation. Interested applicants require to submit an expression of interest. They will get an invitation to apply if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria defined by the province. Provincial immigration authorities will then assess submitted applications entirely. Generally, if approved, the applicant must sign a Performance Agreement and apply for a work permit to enter Canada as a worker. The candidate must also meet the Performance Agreement requirements during a designated period to receive the Provincial Nomination.
